On
August 15, 1936, after following the advice
and encouragement of clothing vendors and
manufacturer reps to leave his position
at Kraft's Clothing Store, Ed Graham and
his sons Joe and John, opened the doors
at 845 Main Street as Ed Graham's & sons.
A downtown retailing legacy was born.
Throughout
the years, Graham's has held tightly to
its roots. Although the store has moved
four times, it has never been more than
a block from Ed's original store site.
More important than street numbers though
is a tradition based on people.
Through
the years we have been blessed with salesmen
who have forged decade-long relationships
with our clients. These relationships
have built credibility and faith in the
lines we carry. Graham's has seen generations
of men through their first job interview,
careers, and the importants events on
life through their 50th, 60th, even 70th
wedding anniversary celebrations.
At
the dawn of a new century, Graham's Style
Store for Men continues to do business
the way it's founders intended, through
relationships.
For
the first time in 30 years you can pull
right up in front of the store and park
on the newly remodeled Main Street. Check
out the attractive new pedestrian and
traffic friendly plaza, then come inside
for great deals on men's clothing and,
of course, the most knowledgeable and
friendly service in the Tri-States. |
